VICTORIA'S DRAMA
Let the Adventures Begin – It’s Drama Day!
Every Thursday, something magical happens at Leaping Frogs... Victoria arrives with her bag of tricks, a big smile, and a whole new world of adventure for our Froggies and Toadies!
Drama day is where imaginations run wild, voices grow bold, and every child gets to be the hero of the story. One week we’re pirates sailing the high seas, hunting for buried treasure and outwitting cheeky parrots. The next, we’re tiny mice helping Cinderella find her lost slipper and get to the royal ball on time (with just a sprinkle of fairy dust, of course!).
Through storytelling, role play, music, and movement, our little performers explore big emotions, build confidence, and develop language skills – all while having an amazing time.
We climb mountains, dive under oceans, fly to outer space, and gallop through enchanted forests... all without ever leaving the classroom!
Drama at Leaping Frogs isn’t about putting on a show – it’s about finding your voice, using your imagination, and leaping into something new every single week.
So grab your cape, your crown, or your cutlass –
because on Thursdays, anything is possible!

ROOM YOGA
Each of our rooms provides weekly yoga sessions for your children. Yoga is very beneficial to all children. This is why.
It Enhances Physical Flexibility Yoga promotes physical strength because children learn to use all of their muscles in new ways. Whether a pose is done standing, sitting, or lying down, each one can challenge various muscle groups while helping a child become aware of his body and how it efficiently functions.
It Refines Balance and Coordination Balance is a key element of yoga. Balancing poses were created to promote mental and physical poise, as mental clarity and stability emerge from the effort of trying the poses. Even if a child has difficulty standing on one foot, she learns mental and physical balance if she can stay calm when she falls and when she gets up to try again. As children learn to improve their physical balance, they will be filled with a sense of accomplishment. Coordination is also closely tied to balance and promotes overall dexterity.
It Develops Focus and Concentration The act of practicing poses encourages children to clear their mind and focus on the effort. As a result of this single focus to achieve a particular pose or stay balanced, yoga helps children to focus and concentrate in school.
It Boosts Self-Esteem and Confidence Yoga helps to instill confidence and to bring learning to children on an experiential level and when a child masters a pose, it gives him confidence and self-esteem.
It Strengthens the Mind-Body Connection Yoga helps children achieve a sound mind in a sound body by exercising the physical body and calming the mental spirit. "As parents we want our children to act and behave with mindfulness and with compassion, to be brave, to know love and happiness, and to find inner peace,

DONNA'S GARDENING GEMS

Little Gardeners at Work! 🌱
Our Leaping Frogs have been busy discovering the wonders of the world around them – especially all the magical changes happening in nature! With the help of green-fingered Donna, the children have been planting tiny seeds, giving them lots of love, water, and sunshine... and watching in amazement as they sprout into real-life seedlings!
Once they were big and strong enough, the children carefully planted them into our veggie and flower beds – and now they’ve taken on the very important job of watering and caring for their growing garden every day.
The best part? Snack time! The children were so proud to taste some of the delicious treats they’d grown themselves – straight from garden to plate!
Of course, we have to be on goat-patrol... our cheeky goats think the veggies are for them and love sneaking a nibble when no one’s looking!
We’re growing more than just plants here – we’re growing care, curiosity, and a love for nature too! 🌿
